Born in Northern Virginia, U.S.A, and raised in Türkiye, I received my B.A. in Political Science from Bilkent University in Ankara, which first led me to the University of Glasgow in Scotland, and later to an M.S. from KU Leuven in Belgium.

I'm currently a PhD candidate at CEU in Vienna and photography allows me to remain creative.
